Coastline = Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Akita, Yamagata, Fukushima dissolved from src/data/site/japan-regions.json (Natural Earth 1:10m admin-1 states/provinces, public domain, https://raw.githubusercontent.com/nvkelso/natural-earth-vector/master/geojson/ne_10m_admin_1_states_provinces.geojson; shared arcs simplified once, Douglas–Peucker 0.012°), the same geometry as the Japan country map; 239 vertices. Context land = neighbouring prefectures from the same file within the frame plus 20%, and land outside Japan's prefectures as Natural Earth draws it. Route traces are review-grade WGS84 sketches of published rail, road and bus corridors; they are not navigation-grade and must be rechecked against current timetables.
