About Kyushu

In south-western Japan, Kyushu is served by direct flights from Hong Kong to Fukuoka. Limited express trains run from Hakata to Yufuin, while the Shinkansen links Fukuoka with Kumamoto and Kagoshima; Nagasaki requires a change at Takeo-Onsen. Hot spring towns, ports and volcanic landscapes are spread across the island, so allow time for connections and local buses.
