About Taipei
Taipei sits in a basin ringed by hills, with central sights linked by walking routes and the MRT. Day trips reach Jiufen, Shifen, Tamsui and Beitou; trains connect the city with Yilan and Hualien, while high-speed rail serves Taichung, from where you can continue to Sun Moon Lake. These routes start and finish in Hong Kong.
