About Okinawa

Okinawa lies at Japan’s southern end, and trips on the main island often start in Naha. A drive north along the west coast takes in Churaumi Aquarium, Manzamo and Kouri Island; ferries also connect Naha with the Kerama Islands. In the city, allow time for Kokusai-dori and Shuri Castle Park. A car is useful in the north, while island visits depend on ferry schedules.
